Director's Meeting
Remarkably painless. I spoke with veteran designer Gary Menendez and asked him how he would rate the technical demands of these seven plays on a one to ten scale with past festivals. He said "about a four". Listening to the directors it's easy to see why. Even the most complex set is being done primarily with suggestion and imagination. Tech, in which each show is given 20 minutes, will begin in a few minutes and I don't foresee many problems. This evening should be much more about what is being done on stage than what is being done
to the stage.
