Director Nicole Boyer Cochran is leading her cast through the blocking of some comedic business, which is generally more involved than it looks. The play features Charles Leggett and Patrick Lennon as native islanders who have captured Amy Love and Alex Garnett as a pair of harried tourists. Cochran and Leggett step aside and decide on some physical business for Leggett to handle while brandishing a wooden paddle.
While the business they are going over right now will probably amount to less than 30 seconds of stage time tonight, this work will pay off dividends come show time, and the crew is having a little too much fun rehearsing it.
