Rehearsal Check In: #1 Duck/Penguin by Doug Willot

Mazen Award winner Kaleb Hagen Kerr intones "Dis-abled? Ridiculous, I am ALL abled. HONK" As you can tell, dignity is a requirement for all Mazen Award winners.

Director Amy Poisson confers with Tonya Andrews, "you have a lovely sexy voice, but I don't want to over use it, so let's find places to use it specifically."

Some sort of infidelity seems to be happening between these two couples, though that's just a supposition on my part...anyway, another boundary checking conversation is had over where it's okay for Kaleb to place hands on Allison for a particular moment.

Before the group starts rehearsing again, Amy reminds her cast to think of simple ways to hint at their animalities without making it either uncomfortable or too obvious. Holding her arms straight out: "Doing this for two minutes will tell us you're flying, but it's tiring and boring, so we need to find other ways of saying that."

And they're off.
