Last night, as a joke, I said that I would review this evening's shows in either 14 or 48 syllables (as a response to Brendan Kiley's 14 word reviews from last week).
Somehow the word spread, expectations formed, and now it turns out that I will, in fact, be reviewing each play at the 8:00 p.m. show in a manner that no sane person would agree to, ever.
Lesson learned: be careful about jokes.
