A Thought From Veteran Playwright Scotto Moore

Scotto writes: Near the end of the thursday night orientation meeting, the playwrights gather on stage in front of the rest of the company (actors, directors, musicians, designers, etc) and draw envelopes which tell them what order their play will fall in the evening, and how many women and men they need to write for. the playwrights announce this to the company.

When it was my turn, I announced 'play #3, for zero men, and two women!'

And Shawn Belyea, one of the festival organizers, shouted in response, 'two ALIEN ROBOT women!'

It's nice having a recognizable brand.
