The seventh slot is traditionally the blow out send off for the evening. This is typically where the big musical numbers or the massive special effects would take place.
For tonight, Scot Auguston has given us a play with a 40s adventure-serial motif, with actors spouting noir-ish jargon right and left; Jennifer Jasper playing a seductress; Roy Stanton as the heavy; Jason Harber and Aly Bedford as ethnic comic relief, and Shawn Law as rogue-ish, gormless ne'er-do-well.
Virgin director Bob Wright has this crew well in hand, focused on their blocking, and coming up with yet more business to add to the proceedings.
