Casts have been chosen, directors and playwrights paired, and rehearsals are underway. The only noticeable difference this morning is that everyone seems a little more tired. And maybe a little more calm since we know what's going to happen a little better and have gotten to know each other better.
Rumor is that one play involves a small umbrella and another will have lots of water. Yesterday evening, I talked to a number of veterans who said the day had felt calm and wondered if, because Friday was calm, Saturday would be madness. The playwrights I spoke with felt that if one night of writing went well, the other would be difficult. Time to put these theories to the test for day #2.
