Play 7, “Emma
Turns A Leaf”, doesn’t read as “camp” piece. In fact, it wasn’t until lunch
when I sat down with some of the actors that they explained the connection. The
four women in the piece play aliens and apparently they’re sent to camp
regularly to assimilate better in the human world.
