#7, There Are at Least Two Lukes at Ballard High School

Susan Stahl's, "There Are at Least Two Lukes at Ballard High School" is a play about high schoolers rehearsing for a play, apparently Seamus Heaney's translation of Antigone, "The Burial at Thebes." It's dark, gloomy, funny, twisted, and the new kid gets the works.

In tech the cast of "Two Lukes" stumbled through the entirety of the script, trouble only somewhat rearing its head in a couple light cues. I'm excited to see this play firmed up and seamless, a strong end to a strong evening of rapid-fire theater.

With that, I need to eat. I'll be back in an hour or so, and will be blogging live during the eight o'clock (and maybe ten o'clock) show.

See you at eight.
